About Our Local Office

The Twin Cities NW Office of Right at Home is a locally owned and operated franchise office of Right at Home Inc., a senior home care and staffing company providing care since 1995. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. We do that by providing high quality in-home caregivers to serve you.

For the last few years, things were becoming more and more evident to Kim that the profession she was in and had held for almost 30 years, was not something she wanted to do for the next 30. In 2004, this single mother of 3 internationally adopted children suffered a stroke. The wonderful care she got from family and friends really got her thinking about the “what ifs” in life. What if she didn’t have this support system, what if she hadn’t recovered to the point where she was again able to care for her family, what if she had needed ongoing care…

These “what ifs” for Kim made her realize that there probably were a lot more people that needed this kind of help. She wanted to be the answer for other people’s “what ifs.” She wanted a profession where she could make a difference in someone’s life. She wanted to go home at night knowing she had made someone else’s life better.

Luckily, Kim was “downsized and restructured” out of her job as a Controller at an auto dealership, and knew this was her opportunity to make a drastic career move. After a few months of research, Kim knew that Right at Home was just the opportunity she was looking for. This franchise was going to allow her to make the difference in the lives of other’s that had become so important to her. It was Right at Homes mission—“To improve the quality of life for those we serve,” that made Right at Home such a clear choice for her.
